Sunday morning spent in an airport terminal: though not entirely unusual, this could be a first.
free wifi via j-blue is like saving grace. undeserved yet so thankful for it.
it's strange how waiting around at an airport with other people who are expectantly trying to get somewhere can give hope. listening in on snippets of their conversations and observing their interactions, i find this terminal to be a microcosm of our lives while here on earth... busily trying to head get somewhere. sometimes waiting around, other times rushing around, with as much stress as one puts on himself. everyone wanting to be anywhere else but "here". i wonder if this allegory explains why find it's been a struggle to genuninely enjoy God wherever/however i am nowadays. yet there's a quiet voice inside that agrees that He is more than enough and that nothing else can satisfy like He does.
all this thinking brings one back to the bare essentials. when all is done and said, stripped of the noise and hustle and status symbols, what really matters?
i don't understand this weirdness and the spectrum of emotions that i've been experiencing. sometimes i want to pull my lower lip over my head and swallow.
